**This particular piece was 'under sealed' leaving some of the texture from the sealing paper on the final piece. You can see these spots in the photos. The price reflects this.**

Made using a process called cyanotype. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple  way to produce copies of drawings known as blueprints. The process uses two chemicals, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, the sun and a lot of patience mingled with grace. Each piece is unique and perfect in its imperfection. No two colors are exactly the same based on the amount of sun exposure and brightness at the time. Lines, gradient and water spots may be present and are all part of this unique process.
